2.   Data categories, purpose and legal basis of the processing

You can of course visit our website without providing any personal information. You can consult the data protection statement by clicking on the link at the bottom of any page. We only use your personal data within the context of your visit to our website to be able to run and optimise the website. For this purpose, we collect the IP address, technical data on the end device (e.g. operating system, browser used, etc.) and data on how our website is used. We do not store these data beyond the legal retention periods or for any other reasons. It is necessary to process these data to guarantee that the website works correctly. If you do not agree to such processing, we cannot provide you with access to our online range. We perform statistical analyses of this information to make using our website more enjoyable for all. We do not make any associations with personal data that we may have already stored. The data gathered within the context of using the website are erased within 14 months. 3.    Data recipients

Your data is not disclosed to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to transfer the data. Such a transfer shall take place on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) GDPR and in conjunction with the directive or legal obligation to which we are subject in the case in question. According to Article (6)(1)(c) GDPR, the processing of personal data is permitted if it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject. Categories of data recipients are: public entities in the event of a legal obligation; processors who process the data gathered online on our behalf; and, where applicable, anyone who is jointly responsible for processing. 4.   Contact form

When you fill out the contact form, you provide us with personal data.
We can gather the following types of data: name, e-mail address, address and information for drawing up a customised quote. We solely use this data to answer your specific queries or requests and to provide information. To protect your data, we use an approved encryption process during its transmission to us. We will store your personal data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes described herein. The legal retention periods remain unaffected. The legal basis of the processing is Art. 6(1)(a) – and in the event of pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. By sending the form, you consent to the processing of your data.

5.    Cookies

We use session cookies on our website. Below we will briefly explain what these cookies are used for. Cookies are small packages of data that we store on your computer. Cookies do not carry out any commands on your computer and so do not pose a security risk. Session cookies store certain pieces of information while you browse our website and are not stored permanently but deleted again when you leave our website. Session cookies are used on the legal basis of Article 6(1)(f). Running the website is in the controller’s legitimate interest. 6.  Google reCAPTCHA 

We use ‘Google reCAPTCHA’ (hereinafter ‘reCAPTCHA’) on our websites.
This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). reCAPTCHA is intended to determine whether data entries on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) are made by a human or an automated program. To this end, reCAPTCHA analyses the website visitor’s behaviour on the basis of several criteria. The analysis starts automatically as soon as the visitor accesses the website. reCAPTCHA performs the analysis by evaluating a variety of information (e.g. IP address, length of time the visitor spends on the website or the mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place. The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web services against abusive automated espionage and spam. 7. Adobe Fonts

This page uses web fonts provided by Adobe to ensure fonts are displayed clearly. When you open a website, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, the browser that you use must connect to the Adobe servers. When this happens, Adobe is informed that our website has been accessed from your IP address. We use Adobe Fonts in the interest of presenting our online range consistently and appealingly. This constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. 8.    Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a website analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies – text files that are stored on your computer and allow your use of the website to be analysed. Google Analytics is only used if you have given your consent. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on “Cookie settings” under “Cookies” and saving a new selection. The data gathered using Google Analytics are passed on internally to our marketing department and processed there. The statistical data will also be received by our house4kitchen co-exhibitors: Franke GmbH, Gaggenau Hausgeräte GmbH, Constructa-Neff Vertriebs-GmbH, Solitaire.

 

9. Google Maps

This website uses the map service Google Maps by means of an API. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In order to use the functions on Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. As a rule, this information is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. The provider of this website has no influence on this data transfer. Transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard clauses of the contract that we have entered into with Google. 10.   Your rights regarding the processing of your personal data

You are entitled to receive information about your personal data. You can also demand that incorrect data be rectified. Furthermore, under certain conditions, you have the right to the deletion of data, to the restriction of data processing and to data portability. You can object to processing on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and to the possible creation of a profile according to Article 21 GDPR.
